To Text or Not to Text...Hot Topic for Tuesday...When is it appropriate to text...Church, On a Date, In an Interview, etc -
We shared this morning about the new Texting Law that takes effect in Richmond tommorrow, July 1st. Virginia has officially joined 13 other states and the District in putting a ban on texting while behind the wheel.
Starting July 1st, Virginia drivers who send or read text messages or e-mail over their cell phones while driving could be fined $20 for the first offense, and $50 for any subsequent infractions.
Like, Virginia's seat belt law, violation of the texting ban is considered a secondary infraction: motorists must be pulled over by a police officer for some other offense in order to be ticketed for it.
This being said we asked the listeners what other times is it not appropriate to text...Is it appropriate to text in Church, on a Date, on an interview, in a Meeting...
